Yahoo! HotJobs web services can be used to perform the following functions:

• Job creation and management — Post, Edit, Refresh, and Delete Posted and Not Posted job ads.
• Candidate search and view — Create and Modify searches, View search results and candidate resumes.

Please note that you can also use the HotJobs RSS feed to present relevant jobs to users on your own site.

How Do I Get Started?

1. Get a Yahoo! HotJobs Web Services license key.
2. Read the HotJobs Job Post API User Guide or the HotJobs Resume Search API User Guide.

Using the HotJobs APIs

Overview

The Yahoo! HotJobs Web Services operate via HTTP requests. Requests are formed by starting with a service endpoint URL, and then results are returned by the service in XML format which varies per service. Applications can use these services by submitting a request, fetching the response, and parsing the returned XML and extracting the required information.
